New Rebates in 2017 for Propane Appliances in North Carolina

Piggy bank with money

Propane continues to be one of the best choices available for energizing your home. And modernizing with new propane appliances is easier in 2017—and quite affordable, thanks to rebates that could save you hundreds of dollars on your investment.

Through the Safe Appliance Installation Rebate Program, which is managed by the North Carolina Propane Gas Association (NCPGA), homeowners can offset the cost of installing new propane appliances.

For example, when you install a qualifying propane furnace, gas pack or dual fuel system (electric heat pump and propane furnace) your propane installer can help you apply for a $250 rebate!

And if your water heater is wearing out or you’re having problems getting enough hot water for your family, consider an upgrade to a new, high-efficiency propane water heater. Whether you choose a traditional storage tank water heater or a highly popular propane tankless unit, you can say goodbye to your hot water troubles—and qualify for a $150 rebate along the way. Find out which water heater may be right for your family.

If that’s not enough, rebates are also available in 2017 for propane clothes dryers ($50), propane cooktops/ranges ($50), and vented propane room heaters or propane wall furnaces ($150).

Don’t wait too long. These rebates are only available while funds last. A maximum of $500 in rebate funds are available per household or single location per year. Read more about current rebates and download and print rebate coupons here.

Whatever your needs or wishes are, your local propane company is always glad to help you choose smart improvements that will enhance your lifestyle, add value to your home and save you money.
